This phone has a slick design however call quality and volume can stand a lot of improvements. This phone sometimes has a mind of its own. It connects to a previously dialed number instead of the keyed in number. This is very frustrating!! In a nine months period I switched 3 different phones and all had the same problem. I am now looking to purchase a new phone; certainly NOT an LG.

I've had this phone for a year and it's still great. Other phones have come along with bells and whistles, but this one stands true with its sleek design. I've dropped it, kicked it, and it still keeps going. I don't seem to have the battery problem that other people are complaining about. If you want a simple, reliable phone, this is the one!

This was my first cell phone so i didn't have anything to compare it to, until now. I have recently renewed my contract with Verizon and had every intention of keeping the little LG V111 but was told by sales rep that i was better off getting a new phone with a new 1 year warranty. Not knowing any better and feeling that all cell phones are probably alike i took her advice. She failed to mention that i could have extend my warranty on my LG for a little over a dollar a month. I first got the Nokia 5185i ,and found out that it didn't have vibrating alert so i took it back, and exchanged it for the Audiovox CDM-135 with vibrate alert. The Audiovox has very poor reception , so now i'm taking it back to see if they will re-activate my LG or let me exchange it for a LG TM510 or a Motorola Star TAC ST7868. I guess i'm learning the hard way..

I feel the V 111 is a great cellular phone to use. I love the small and compact design. Also it is user friendly to navigate to where you need to get to in the different menus. Different people have reply about the battery life,being in and analog area drains and battery much faster than being in a digital area, so people keep that in mind. Maybe to make this cellular phone better LG could of added some games and downloadable rings from off the net because I'm not that find of the rings. Storage is great with 200 slot for names and numbers.

The worst battery life I have ever seen in any cell phone. The sound quality is not bad and I have dropped very few calls. I do, however, miss calls on a regular basis because my phone does not ring about half the time. I'm not sure if this is due to the phone or the service, though.

The reason I gave Call Quality a low rating, is that I live in an analog area and commute to an area that has digital. I have very poor reception in my home area and good reception in digital. I live in-between two digital towns and I cannot understand why Verizon hasn't added digital in my area YET!!! Battery life is very poor in my home area (ANALOG). This phone was a replacement for a Motorola SC3160, which went I got it, It had an extended battery standard.

I hate this phone, it is not capable of anything. There are no frills that can be added, it is so horrible!

We are very disatisfied with this telephone. We only have analog capability in our area. Battery life 20-30 talk time, very scratchy/static reception and transmission. Battery life virtually nil. Add a headset and talk time is reduced to less than 20 minutes.

Very short battery, poor reception with Verizon Wireless. I am very dissappointed with the phone.
