I barely had this phone for two weeks and the screen started to mess up on me. It's a touch screen, as you know, and anytime I'd touch the screen wrong it'd mess up! It would go all light,and shaky. While it was in this condition, if you stayed on a text too long, it'd burn it into your screen briefly. There were a few times I was able to get it back to normal, but it was a pain. I'm having to do without a phone for a week now due to having to sent it back. The call quality wasn't too bad, and the battery life was pretty good. But over all, my experience with this phone is out the window, I don't like it. I hope the new one I'm getting doesn't do the same thing.

Not happy with LG Xenon. Phone book doesn't have space available for addresses and synching is horrible. Should of looked for phone with Microsoft/Word.

I love the Xenon. The keyboard is very easy to use, and the touch screen is really nice as well. I would definitely recommend it for heavy text users.

I am going to buy a LG Xenon blue and I want to know if I can synch my appointments and address book to my new MacBook. Right now I'm using Palm, but I am willing to change (just not change my Mac--love it)

If you are looking to synch contacts and appointments, I would suggest moving to a more comparable phone to your Palm than the Xenon, which is a more consumer-centric device. Something like the LG Incite or Samsung Jack.

Hi I bought data cable and software LG II PC suite. When in data mode the software recognzes that phone is connected but when I try to sync nothing happens it just shows 0 contacts copied, modified, delelted etc for everything.
When I try to open contacts the contact manager says phone not connected although LG PC suite says its connected.
PC suite version: V4.G.3.93.090415
LG XENON H/W version 1.0
S/W version GR500-V10j-Jul-20-2009-ATT-US
DM Client Version Version2.5

The first thing I would try is to download pc suite III to see if it will correct the problem.

The phone is free when you sign a 2-yr contract, you only pay the month-to-month plan price with your carrier.

Does this phone have any sort of good note taking program? I am going to miss MS Word that's on my Palm now when I upgrade so I am looking for a phone that has something similar.

No, however most smartphones have MS Word capability, such as Blackberry, HTC Pure, or HTC Tilt 2.

If you already have a contract you can purchase the phone only and trade in your phone for a monetary value.

There is no keyboard on the touch-screen, so you'll need to use the slide-out QWERTY keyboard for messaging.
