For what I paid for this phone as a loyal Verizon customer, who's previous phone lasted just shy of a year, I had hoped for a much greater experience with the Motorola V710 phone. The screen went out quickly with the first V710 phone I had. And the second one too lost screen but took a few more weeks into it and twice I lost my phone book entries because of getting replacement phones. I must add that Verizon was excellent about handling the replacement of these bad phones. I have no complaints there with Verizon except that they should have waived my monthly plan fee I feel after the second incident with their product.
So my rating isn't so great I'm sorry to say with needing to be bothered by non working phones. If I can't be reached, the bottom line isn't pretty. This problem I had with my phones meant losing clients, which equals losing much needed income. Not to mention finding time to get to Verizon to get them replaced.
Soooooooo now where do I stand with my phone since last replacement? Well, three phones same model (January, Feb and April) and This third one is now (August) also losing it's magic. Features don't work like- when I see a call come in I use to be able to send a text message back to that number just by clicking on it and scrolling down to send message. No longer can I do this.
LITTLE THINGS like this just aren't features anymore and that's what made this phone so nice. The worst part is that I have to wrap electrical tape up all over the phone at the bottom to get the charger piece to stay into the phone for a charge. This is very inconvenient to say the least and again means lost clients, lost money and finding time I don't have to address this latest phone issue. I'm not at all a happy camper.I am losing a lot of calls lately too. That is a puzzle.
The camera though is nice. Quality of the pictures is better than any camera phone my friends have. Though the LG I had previous to this phone was actually a pretty nice camera phone for the cheap price. It lacked features that's all. Maybe I should have stuck with that phone since features are what I'm now some how losing on this great camera phone. Can anyone explain it? Yes, I'm calling Verizon right now to talk to tech support!
Have a great day you all

The Motorola V710 cell phone has had more problems than any I've ever used. We got 8 on family plans, and 4 died the first 3 months. Lots of problems followed. It has a white dot on the back under the cover - If you get one raindrop on it, it turns red, and shorts the entire phone out, and it must be replaced - can't be fixed. Also, connection to plug power cord is inferior. Stay away.

The Motorola V710 cell phone has been worth every cent I paid, I use it as my "every phone", that is it is my home phone as well as my cell. I had a V60 for over 3 years and thought that I would never find a phone as reliable, I selected the V710 because of the Bluetooth capability and have been absolutely satisfied with it, the Motorola HS820 is a perfect low cost companion. The speaker phone option is clear with good volume, the internal memory is more then needed for the average user, picture quality leaves a lot to be desired (quality is bad to poor) and the battery as in most phones is average. I do not use data transfer so I have no comment on it's use. The other options such as additional ring tones , alarm, date book all work well. My only real compliant is the factory belt clip does not really secure the phone, mine has come uncliped many times. In short I find the V710 easy to use and very reliable and if I had to replace my V710 it would be with the same model if possible.

I believe I was an early adopter of the v710. My entire family has enjoyed this model from the start (4 total). Battery is poor but overall I would not give up my v710 our v710's have been through allot of terror & withstood many tests of time! We are leary of getting a razor due to its fragility.
Regarding my personal v710's, I love the bluetooth enable headset, voice dialing, image capture, text messaging, image sharing and voice quality features. I have never had reason to go back to Verizon to complain. This is coming from a person that owned an lg600 phone first. Loved that phone, could n't part with it so I gave it to my technology adverse mother, to keep it in the family.

The Motorola V710 cell phone is really a mixed experience for me. Call quality is usually acceptable but nothing more. Voice dialing works great but sometimes when pushing the voice dial button I inadvertently change the ringer volume. This causes me to miss calls. Battery life flat out stinks. It has been pretty durable. The charge cable is sometimes intermittent with charging the unit, you have to be REAL careful to be sure you get all the contacts mated.
I guess the best assessment is I wouldn't get this phone again. My wife also has Motoralo phone and she is getting a new now and is going with Nokia. Tired of mediocre motorola.

Motorola V710 is the best phone by far that I've personally used. It's easy to use and really a pleasure to use with its bluetooth capabilities. I love this phone.

I like the camera on the Motorola V710 and the screen. It has good options inside the phone. The call quality was horrible. It looks nice but doesn't take much to damage. The phone is not worth the big price you have to pay

The Motorola V710 cell phone quality is horrible. The charging is a great but will never work, the electronics suck, probably the worst piece of crap Motorola has ever put out. The design doesn't work nor do the electronics. The phone will last about six months if your lucky.

I've only had the V710 for a few days. I had tried the V276 but was not happy with the camera feature but was able to trade up.
The V710 is easy to use but the documentation is a bit weak in covering some of the features. I stumbled across the voice recognition feature that is outstanding. The Camera is good considering the package that it comes in. It's better than my first digital camera. My one problem is the ability to see the screen in daylight. It's very difficult, not impossible but difficult. I've tried adjusting the contrast and the brightness without luck.
The speaker phone feature is excellent.

The Motorola V710 is nothing like I expected.
First of all the battery life is terrible. Second, the camera is a joke especially the flash. It is terrible. You can only take pics in the day time. The front of the phone scratches very easily. The rings could be a little louder. MP3 sux!!! It doesn't go from one song to the other automatically.
I'm still on the 30 day trial. And I'm just gonna get the LGVX8000 coming out in February. It's like the V710 and LGVX7000 combined.
